Young People in Sales Co-Chairs | UKSA Leadership Opportunities

Your ideas could change what happens next.

We are looking for two young people aged 18–24 to shape UKSA's free Young People in Sales Membership and help guide the Young People in Sales Fund as it develops from 2027.

You don't need a senior title, a large following or years of experience. We want fresh thinking, different perspectives and people prepared to tell us what needs to change.

Two voluntary Co-Chair appointments · 12-month initial term · Flexible involvement

PARENTS, CARERS AND MENTORS

Know a young person who sees what could be better?

They don’t need top grades, a senior job or a clear career plan. These voluntary Co-Chair roles build confidence, show how decisions are made and connect young people with UKSA Fellows and business members.

Share this with a son, daughter, apprentice, student or young colleague aged 18–24. Encourage them to explore free membership and apply.

TWO CO-CHAIR APPOINTMENTS

Two Co-Chairs. One shared role. Equal voices.

We're looking for two young people aged 18–24 to work together as equals. You might be working, studying, looking for a job or still deciding what's next. Your current situation doesn't define the role. Both Co-Chairs have the same standing, responsibilities, support and opportunities.

YOUNG PEOPLE IN SALES FUND · FROM 2027

Help decide where support goes.

From 2027, contributions from Business Membership and Founding Fellowship will build a fund that grows as membership grows. We won't decide in advance what young people need. Instead, the Co-Chairs will help review the Fund each year, set priorities and have a real say in where support goes.

YOU WON'T DO THIS ALONE

People in your corner.

UKSA Fellows and business members will offer guidance, mentoring, introductions and employer insight. They're there to support your voice, not replace it. You bring the young person's perspective; you don't need every answer.

What this could mean for you: Real conversations with people who lead teams and hire talent, and the chance to turn your ideas into action.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What you might want to know.

Do I need to be working in sales already?

No. Both Co-Chairs hold the same role and have equal standing. You can be employed, studying, looking for work or exploring your options. Your ideas and willingness to represent other young people matter most.

Is the role paid?

These are proposed voluntary, unpaid appointments. There are no mandatory weekly hours or sales targets. Reasonable agreed expenses can be reimbursed.

How much time will it take?

We envisage a quarterly conversation as the core activity, with optional opportunities to contribute further based on your availability.

Can my parent or someone supporting me get in touch?

Absolutely. Parents, carers, teachers and mentors can share this opportunity and ask questions at membership@uksalesassociation.com. The young person, aged 18–24, should choose whether to apply and take part themselves.

TWO VOICES · REAL INFLUENCE

Don't just join the conversation. Help shape it.

We're not looking for two young people to tell us we're doing a good job. We're looking for people who'll tell us what we need to do better.
